Pinewood Derby 2010

On Saturday, January 16th the Cub Scouts held their annual
Pinewood Derby. Ben poses with this year's entry, his tribute
to Harry Potter with the Nimbus 2000. It's the second car from
the left.



His car came in 2nd place in the style competition.



Here's the Nimbus at the starting line for the actual race.


Each car ran in four heats (once in each lane for fairness)
before the finalists were decided.



The Nimbus "swept" the competition and came in 1st for speed.
