Christmas Eve

Grammy made Katelyn and Anna (her American
Girl Doll) matching dresses for Christmas.
Aren't they beautiful.

We got some special reindeer food that will help the
Reindeer fly on Christmas Eve. We sprinkled it all around
the driveway for them.

We made some special sugar cookies for Santa. We left them
downstairs by the Christmas tree with some milk and carrots
for the reindeer.
Santa must have enjoyed them. He left us a Thank You note
in the morning.

Dolbeare School Polar Express

Choo-Choo
The Polar Express pulled into the station at the Dolbeare
School Library on December 20th at 9:00 am sharp.
The train was filled to capacity with pajama-clad
kindergartners.

The children made their way to the reading
alcove to listen to the story of the Polar Express
read by the three Kindergarten teachers (Mrs. Curley,
Mrs. Bakst, and Mrs. Corbett).

When the story was over each child recieved a shiny silver
bell just like the boy in the book. They boarded the train
again to return to their classrooms.

All Aboard---Katelyn and Katie share a car.

Winter Has Arrived

It seems like as soon as the calendar turned to December, the snow started.
It started with a small storm on Sunday night, the 2nd. We had a pretty
nasty storm on the 13th and more on the 16th. I am looking out my
office window and watching more snow falling.

Check out Ben and Katelyn's cute little snowman.

Doesn't it look festive!

The Tooth Fairy pays a Visit

The Tooth Fairy paid a visit on Monday 12/3. Katelyn's first
tooth fell out just before bed. The Tooth Fairy left a bag
with ten gold coins. Whatever happened to a quarter!!!

The next day the school nurse helped removed Katelyn's
second tooth. It was so loose that one little pull
did the trick. The Tooth Fairy had to pay Katelyn another
visit. This time she left "paper money" that was
sprinkled with pixie dust. Cool!
