Wakefield Little League Opening Day

On April 26, 2009, Wakefield Little League
held it's Opening Day parade. Ben's team is
theSingle A Blue Rocks. Daddy is the head coach.

Brownie Field Trip to Dominos Pizza

On April 9th, Katelyn's Brownie troop to a field trip to
Dominos Pizza as part of their "Make It-Eat It" Try-It
badge. They got the grand tour and each girl got to make
her own pizza.

We started with a tour of the kitchen.

Happy Birthday Daddy

On April 7 we celebrated Daddy's birthday with an

ice cream cake from Meletharbs. Yummy.

Dolbeare Spring Carnival

Dolbeare Elementary held it's annual Spring Carnival
on Friday (3/27).

Katelyn loves getting her face painted.


She chose the teddy bear.


Katelyn and classmates join in on the Chicken Dance.



Ben also got his face painted. He chose a playing card theme.



Saxaphone Man. He won it in a dance contest---He had
the best Twist.

Maple Sugaring at Breakheart Reservation

Katelyn's Brownie Troop visited Breakheart Reservation
in Saugus for a Maple Sugaring demonstration.

Katelyn and Kelly take a turn with the two handled saw.

Ben and Mrs. Benedetto take a turn.

The girls got to try the sap as it came out of the tap.

Emma, Sarah, Sofia, Sophia, Melanie, Lily, Katelyn, Hope,

Kelly, ALi, Erin. Charlotte is in the front and that's Ben in

the back.

Everyone also got to try drilling a tap hole.

The trip ended with everyone trying some pancakes and

popcorn with the Breakheart syrup.
