The Farm by the River Bed and BreakfastWe didn't see any snow in the mountains but we saw several rainbows.
So much for a sleigh ride. We had a great wagon ride led my Copper and Sampson.
Ben got to drive the team for a while. He did great. Dave was a good teacher.
Benjamin, Lucy and our host Rick.
Katelyn, Princess Lucy, and our hostess Charlene.
This is so exciting!!!!
We're on the Polar Express.
Mommy, Ben and Katelyn each donned their new pajamas for the occasion.
As soon as we boarded the train we got "hot cocoa as thick and rich as melted chocolate bars."
...and
...and a piece of Santa's favorite "candy with nougat centers as white as snow."
When the train arrived at the North Pole, we were greeted by a sea of elves who escorted us up the lantern-lit hill to Santa's workshop.
The little boy from the book is all grown up now. He read us his story.
Santa took a break from making toys to pay us a visit and say Hi before we had to go.
We met the elf who's job it is to make the clothes for all the dolls in Santa's workshop.
She walked us down the dark path back to the train platform. Ben and Katelyn each got a turn holding her lantern.
All aboard for the train ride back to the station.
On the train ride home, we each received a bell from Santa's sleigh. Only those who believe can hear it ring. We all heard it!
I hope you all can still hear it ring.
