The Cub Scout Pine Wood Derby

This morning the Pine Wood Derby was held. Ben's
entry this year was "Money in the Bank", a piggy bank
car complete with felt ears, a curly tail, and a coin slot with
two quarters.


Despite stiff competition, he took the First Place Ribbon
in the style award.


Congratulations Ben. Great job.



Next up, was the actual race. Here Ben's car is racing against
an X-Wing Fighter, and a Wii Remote.


Ben made it to the final round, where he took third place
overall.

That was one fast piggy!



The designers of the four fastest cars received trophies.

It was a very successful day. But most importantly,

it was a lot of fun.
